David L. Polk, D.D.S. - General Dentist, Practice limited to Endodontics
Conveniently located within the PeaksView Dental office is the practice of Dr. David Polk. Dr. Polk’s practice is limited to Endodontics. This allows our own patients, as well as other patients that are referred from other Roanoke and Lynchburg area dentists, who require root canal therapy, to do so in the comfort of our office. Dr. Polk attended Randolph-Macon College for his undergraduate studies and graduated in 1992 with a B.S. in Chemistry. He then attended dental school at the University of Maryland and graduated in 1996. Upon completion of dental school, Dr. Polk completed a General Practice Residency at the Veteran’s Affairs Medical Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Dr. Polk currently lives in Forest with his wife Julie, and their two children.
Thomas M. Richardson, D.D.S. - General Dentist
Dr. Thomas M. Richardson was born and raised in Southern California. He attended California State University at Fullerton where he received his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration. He then attended the University of Southern California School of Dentistry where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1978. He practiced in Southern California for 29 years and then moved to Bedford, Virginia in 2007 to continue his dental career. He has practiced in Bedford for ten years and joined the PeaksView Dental team in 2017 bringing his staff and patients to PeaksView dental.
Dr. Richardson has enjoyed being a part of the PeaksView team because there are so many additional treatments offered by the dentists at PeaksView, patients rarely need to be referred elsewhere. It is truly a one-stop dental experience, something that is rare in a relatively small town such as Bedford.
The people of Bedford have welcome Dr. Richardson and his wife, Patty with open arms, and in the words of Dr. Richardson, "I can't think of a better place to live or be a dentist!"
