Our Digital X-rays are more efficient, easier to view, and reduce radiation exposure by up to 90% as compared to traditional X-rays.
At PeaksView Dental, our innovative digital X-ray technology captures a detailed image of your entire mouth and allows you to immediately view it.
Our digital X-ray system uses a digital X-ray sensor instead of traditional photographic film. The digital sensor is placed in your mouth and captures the image created by the X-rays. The sensor sends the image to the computer for an instant result, which allows for immediate diagnosis. We can then re-position the sensor in other areas of your mouth to capture the images of other teeth.
With digital X-rays, we are able to more accurately diagnose and provide you with the necessary treatment due to the clarity of the image. This also means we more easily diagnose and detect tooth decay before it turns into a major problem.
Our patients are amazed at how simple and quick digital X-rays are. Also, the images produced are so clear, you can see them on the overhead LCD screen which allows you to see what the dentist sees. In addition, we easily send them to a consulting specialist.
This allows for quicker checkups, and it’s also fun to watch how the digital X-ray system works!
Soft Tissue Laser
Our state-of-the-art soft tissue laser takes the place of the traditional scalpel allowing our doctors to perform periodontal treatment in a more comfortable, precise, and minimally invasive fashion. In fact, the amount of bleeding is minimized so significantly that most patients don’t even require sutures afterwards. In addition to treating gum disease, we use this tool to recontour the gum line, a practice that corrects an overly “gummy” or uneven appearance and improves the aesthetic value of a patient’s smile.
Snoring is debilitating to daily life. Besides keeping loved ones awake and being a nuisance to all within earshot, people who snore take in reduced amounts of oxygen. This can cause gasping, irregular breathing, chronic fatigue, morning headaches, nighttime reflux, a frequent need to urinate, and poor memory.
There are also several serious health risks associated with snoring:
Hypertension/High Blood Pressure
- Cardiovascular Disorders
- Heart failure
Luckily, at PeaksView Dental, we have a variety of options to stop your snoring once and for all! Contact us today to make snoring a thing of the past!
3D Conebeam Imaging
Digital X-rays provide a significant source of insight when planning dental care, but their 2D nature does have limitations. That’s why our team has invested in state-of-the-art 3D Conebeam technology as well to ensure even more precision and accuracy when providing dental implants, wisdom tooth extraction, and other advanced services. This tool creates a complete, panoramic 3D image of the patient’s mouth, showing every single tooth, toot root, area of gum tissue, and nearby facial structure in perfect clarity.
